I am so excited to bring my recipe to you! Peace water is one of the biggest rip-offs in botanicas because true peace water is easy to spot. Peace water should be layered indigo water and oil-NOT just a bottle of water with food colouring added to it! If there are no layers-it's NOT authentic peace water and you're being took!

True peace water is a beautiful magickal aid and just the aesthetics are enough to evoke feelings of serenity. 

The theory behind peace water is the old adage "to pour oil over troubled waters" meaning to soothe the spirit. Scientifically when oil is poured onto agitated water, it does smooth the surface, and that is what this "water" does for your household as well. Think of it as anointing your home's feet, treating it as if it is a living entity, and if you ask me, the home is;)

It is said by hoodoos in my family that simply having a bottle of this water in your home calms tension, anger, quarrels and problems of all sorts. I find it to be true as well. This "water" can be used anoint surfaces in your home like doorknobs, frames and sills, or added to your floor or wall wash. I find washing your steps with it really blesses your home with a harmonious vibe.

I can't reveal my entire recipe here but this concoction includes my own indigo water, known for it's protective and calming abilities, my own infused "drawing" oil, peppermint oil and lavender buds-the best combination of herbs to clear negativity from a home. Draw harmony and banish the nasties.
